Introducing the Neoprene Swim Jacket...it is a lightweight non-inflatable swimming accessory specially designed for your children to help promote confidence whilst learning to swim and make water play easier and more fun!! It is also fully adjustable to match your child's improving swimming ability.

Assalamualaikum...hhmmm atas permintaan rakan2...i have listed the menu for chicken rice poridge a.k.a bubur ayam just like McDonald's have added with a twist...my kids love it n request for it almost every other day...it's good for babies too :) ...have a try n enjoy!!

 

BUBUR AYAM ALA McD

Bubur ayam ala McD

 

Bahan2 utama:

1 pot beras

8 pot air

1 kiub ayam atau 1 sudu besar pati ayam

1 inci halia dihiris nipis
Isi ayam seberapa byk yg suka di potong dadu kecil
1 sudu teh minyak bijan

Bahan2 tambahan jika suka:

1 ½ inci carrot dipotong dadu kecil
5 helai daun bayam dihiris halus
1 biji ubi dipotong dadu kecil

Hiasan:

Bawang goreng
Daun sup dan daun bawang di hiris
Sebatang cili dicincang dan di rendam dalam sos kikoman

Cara memasak:

1.      Masukkan semua bahan2 utama dalam periuk ‘slow cooker’ atau periuk biasa pun boleh...rebus sehingga mendidih...kepada yg mgunakan periuk biasa, sambil2 tunggu mendidih pastikan gaul supaya tiada beras yg melekat pada bahagian bawah periuk.

2.      Masukkan bahan2 tambahan jika ada...dan kemudian tutup periuk rapat supaya bubur nasi masak sepenuhnya tanpa kehilangan air yang banyak..gunakan api yang kecil.

3.      Selepas 15 minit sila perhatikan periuk anda supaya tiada nasi yang melekat pada bahagian bawah periuk...rugi kalau melekat...teruskan menggaul nasi berkenaan dan tambah air jika perlu.

4.      Biasanya bubur nasi ni akan masak dalam masa 1 ½ jam paling cepat pun...jadi haruslah bersabar sbb kalu x nanti bubur anda akan hangus.

5.      Setelah masak bolehlah dihidangkan dan taburkan bahan2 hiasan..kalau makan dgn ikan masin goring pun sodap!!

Whooooaaaaa it's been cloudy n wet for the past month...lengkap dengan banjir segala...hehehehe glamour sekejap bila sungai melimpah melebihi tahap bahaya masuk tv...kalu x no body knows RTB Bukit Changgang n Kuala Langat...heheheh syukur Al-hamdulillah everything's back to normal although we are still on stand by due to the constant downpour for the past couple of days...

 

The news that tore my heart apart when GAZA was being haunted n hunted again was really devastating n we sure do hope that our doa' will be heard and Allah will grant peace and love to all of our muslim families there...Al-fatihah

 

What ever is happening around us, we should not stop working, beribadat and doa to Allah...n we're back in business IN SHAA ALLAH...I'll be updating on the latest project for November 2012 soon...so make sure to stay tuned to Creative.Angels because we have lots more installed for all mommies n kiddos out there...

Daging Masak Hitam

Assalamualaikum and hi again...

Today I made a special dish which my kids and husband says it was nice...heehehhe masuk bakui angkat sendiri...in Malay it is called "Daging Masak Hitam" and in English its Beef in Dark Sauce..OH MY ENGLISH!!!

Daging Masak Hitam

It's nice to eat with rice or pulut or french toast or u can even eat it on its own...so here is the recipe which I have used for my version of Daging Masak Hitam:

Ingredients A: (boiled and cooked until meat is tender)
1kg of beef - cut into small chunks
light sweet soy sauce
oyster sauce
tamarind juice
star anise
cinnamon stick
cloves
cardamom
lemongrass

Ingredients B: (blended together)
chilli paste - made of dried chilli, boiled
shallots - about 15 small ones
a bulb of garlic
2 inches of ginger

Ingredients C:
250gm fried shallots - the ones pre-packed will do as well
2 tomatoes - thickly sliced
1 big onion - thickly sliced
2 spoonful of sugar for seasoning
2 spoonful of dark soy sauce or kicap mee

How I cook this dish:

1. Put ingredients A in a big pot and then add about 2 litres of water and bring to a boil. Make sure to put a tight lid on the pot so that the meat cooks faster.
2. While boiling don't forget to skim all the fat (the ones that sits in the surface of the water or soup) it is also called degreasing. It's a good way to take care of our body..We don't need that much fat in our body!!
3. Add water gradually (only if needed) until the meat is cooked and really tender.
4. In another pan/kuali, heat a bit of oil and fry/saute all the ingredients in B section. Saute until you can see oil sipping out of the fried ingredients and u can smell the nice aroma from it n then u'll know it's done.
5. Add in the sauted ingredients (4) into the big pot (1) together with the meat.Stir gradually to make sure nothing sticks to the bottom of the pot.
6. Add in ingredients C and stir again until all ingredients are mixed evenly and turn down the heat and let it simmer until the sauce is thickened.
7. Make sure u have a taste of the sauce and add in sugar or salt if needed. It's all in the taste pallet, if u like the taste then go with it. If u like it hot and spicy then add some more chilli or chilli padi.
8. And plate when done. You can keep this dish in a clean container and keep it in the fridge (3 days) or in the freezer (up to 2 weeks) and reheat when needed.

I hope u'll try and like my version of the Daging Masak Hitam. This dish is great for all occasions, weddings, holiday specialty dish or even just a fine dish to eat with your loved ones in the weekend. Have fun cooking and enjoy!!

Girl's Peasant Blouse

We're back with a new project completed just last night...I slept at 3am trying to finish up my daughters' peasant blouse...though I am very sleepy still, but I had a great time making them.

My girls tried them on this morning and it was a nice fit...can't wait to see them wearing the blouse tonight... We're going to our second cousin's wedding at Kelab Golf Negara Subang...huhuuhuhu indulge!!!

Upcoming Projects 2

Happy day...we're back in full swing starting from today...I'm feeling great and looking forward for a productive week ahead...I just finished a laptop pouch for my dear sister's birthday yesterday but I forgot to take some pictures of it...I really hope that she likes it...will upload when she gets back...anyhow here's a pic that resembles the pouch I was talking about.

Fuit Salad

Assalamualaikum n hi to everyone,

It's been a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerry long time since I last updated Creative.Angels...

Lots been done and some were ugly n some were great...I can't go on mumbling when I know it'll never end...

So what have I been up to?? Been doing some thinking n I am finally going to "retire" early...so that I can focus on my family n who knows maybe start my own home base business...I'm loving the idea n I am a bit excited n at the same time sad to leave too...hoping that everything will go as planned...InsyaAllah

So....here goes...the new star of my passion is Fruit Salad...actually it's Buko Salad...if u're a pinoy then u'll know how good this one is for sure...Have done some homework and improvised n I am happy with the results...for anyone out there who would like to taste some...u know where to find me!!!

Hi again...just finished my new design...a baby blanket or stroller blanket...exclusively for the little angel...

Got myself some new designs and turned them into this very elegant looking and very comfortable baby blanket. New designs will come in again soon...next project in line is the baby bean pillow(small) and some more warm pouch...c u again then!!

Lots of new & exciting things have been happening this past few days...new job description...new environment...n the most exciting would be the new cotton flannel project in line...

Latest was the order from Pn Rohaliza Hamzah - Barut Baby (velcro) for her unborn niece...few days to go...can't wait to see the lil princess in the posing with the barut...hehehehe

Next project will be a baby pillow n baby hot pouch for baby Aryan...can't wait to upload the pics as soon as I finish them.

Pasta - Linguine with cream, herbs & cheese

Been quite sometime since I last updated my blog...starting over again in a different environment (with 3 handful beautiful kids) and household yang macam nak karam dah...heheehe being a working mom is never easy...never the less being a stay at home mom doesn't make things any different either...

Here I'm sharing some of my experience and hobbies with all of u out there...please take note that I'm no doctor nor am I practicing any sort of weird biz here..

Today I'd like to share one of my daughters favourite dish...pasta...either it's bolognese, or olio or marinara...it's all good for them...pasta is a good carbohydrate and protein source, plus NO cholestrol when cooked without salt. It's even good for mommies to be as enriched pasta is fortified with folic acid..here's a tip for mommies out there to make fast, delicious and healthy food for the whole family...try it and enjoy!!

Linguine with cream, herbs and cheese

1/2 pack of linguine (or any kind of pasta will do)
250ml fresh cream or 200ml of fresh milk
1 tablespoon of mixed herbs (itallian herbs pun ok)
5 sausages (I prefer Ayamas Cheese and Mushroom Sausage) - sliced or diced
1 spoonful of concentrated chicken stock
2 onions - sliced
1/2 green capcicum - sliced
1 clove of garlic - finely chopped
3 slices of single's kraft cheese - chopped
grated parmesan or cheddar cheese for garnishing
olive oil
salt for tasting

1. In a deep pot heat water, and add salt to the boiling water...Boil the linguine until 3/4 cooked. After it's done, drain the water and keep it a side.
2. Heat a sauce pan with olive oil and toss in the garlic, mixed herbs and the sausages.
3. When sausage are half way done, add in the onions and capcicum.Saute for a while, just until the garlic and herbs gives out a nice smell, then add in the milk and cream and the chicken stock.
4. Lastly add in the chopped cheese and salt to taste.
5. Mix the linguine and the sauce together in a plate and sprinkle the grated parmesan or cheddar cheese on top...perrrggghhhh!!!
